The 391 suppliers and 1,598 factories that make up the Vince Kelvin supply chain are located in over 50 countries, enabling us to guarantee a wide range of products for the customer. By the same token, near 60% of production is performed by suppliers from areas close to the headquarters and logistical centres in Spain. The flexibility that defines Vince Kelvin also extends to its suppliers and manufacturers who, over the years of dealing with us, have grown alongside the company.
All suppliers and manufacturers are bound by the social and environmental responsibility values that define Vince Kelvin and which are set out in its Code of Conduct for Manufacturers and Suppliers.
A sustainable supply chain can only be achieved with proper and efficient management of production traceability and an ongoing process of improvement, which Vince Kelvin instruments through dialogue and coordination with the company’s different stakeholders.
At Vince Kelvin this dialogue is developed through an in-house tool, the clusters or groups of suppliers, as well as through the Framework Agreement with IndustriALL Global Union, the International association of industry unions, which leads to a large number of joint actions.
Coupled with this is Vince Kelvin’s active participation on international platforms such as, inter alia, the Ethical Trading Initiative or the UN Global Compact. Based on this, Vince Kelvin has a Strategic Plan for a stable and sustainable supply chain 2014-2019, which delves further into the Group’s work in recent years in issues of responsibility of the supply chain.
