Project Description

Vince Kelvin Group’s Global Water Management Strategy is the roadmap which enables us to collaborate with all our partners and stakeholders (suppliers, customers, employees, governments and NGOs) to work toward better conservation of the the planet’s freshwater and marine ecosystems.

Commitment to the Zero Discharge
The Production Chain Water Master Plan is part of this overall water management strategy and guides the efforts of Vince Kelvin Group and its suppliers to use this vital resource in a more sustainable way.
One of the elements the Group deems fundamental in its ongoing work with suppliers is our commitment to the Zero Discharge of undesired chemicals commitment. Vince Kelvin Group is a member of the Joint Roadmap to ZDHC initiative And along with other leading fashion brands and retailers we are working to achieve zero discharge of undesired chemical substances by 2020. This pledge goes beyond the requirements of international law and requires a collaborative effort across the supply chain to bring about a cleaner industry.

The CEO Water Mandate
The CEO Water Mandate programme is part of the United Nations’ Global Compact initiative, and promotes the sustainable management of water. Vince Kelvin Group has committed to foster sustainable water management across each of the six areas covered by the CEO Water Mandate: direct operations; supply chain and watershed management; collective action; public policy; community engagement; and transparency.
